MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Dear Fellow Servant:

Remember Sunday, is Mother’s Day and I wish a Happy Mother’s Day to my wife, my mother, all my MBCC mothers and mothers around the world. There is nothing more precious in life than a mother and her love. If you are a mother in any way, this is your special day. Please come to church this Sunday as we celebrate mothers. Also remember, there’s no better day than mother’s day to tell your mother that you love her. So make sure that you visit, call, email and/or text her and stay connected with your mother.

THREE DAYS UNTIL REVIVAL

THREE POWERFUL EVENINGS OF PREACHING, TEACHING AND MUSIC

Does the Bible have the answers for the conditions of today’s world?

How can the Word of God translate into my house and utility payments, medical bills or assure me that my breakthrough is right around the corner?

These and more questions will be addressed during our Spring Revival called “In Times like These We Need the Bible”.

Come and experience three evenings filled with anointed messages by Dr. Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr., senior pastor of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Jacksonville, Florida and inspirational music from top recording psalmist Earnest Pugh, Fort Washington, Maryland and THE BLVD Choirs. Click here and check out our promo video to get a sneak peek of what to expect.

NEXT GENERATION |

NURSERY PARENTS……WE NEED YOU!!!!

To ensure that our Pee Wee Disciples are safe and that the nursery is in compliance with the State of Tennessee ’s adult to child ratio, we are in desperate need of parental volunteers. We are asking that each parent volunteer at least one Sunday a quarter. Please contact Pastor Weston or Annette Bowen or call 901.272.5662 to sign up!

CHILDREN AND YOUTH RENOVATION PROJECT

MBCC Children and Youth say “thank you” to everyone who has given to their renovation project.  If you have not made a pledge or given to the project, you can still do so through December 2009.  You can purchase an item through the “Gift Registry,” make a cash donation or make a pledge. Not sure how to make a pledge and stay within your budget? Well, an “example” would be pledging today (May 10th) $495 and then paying $15 each Sunday for the next 33 Sundays to pay off your pledge. In these tough economic times, giving a little over an extended period of time can really help you stay on track while supporting this project.  If you are interested in pledging, please write PLEDGE on the special Children and Youth envelope and place it in the offering tray or you can use the same envelope and place your pledge in the offering slot located in the Montgomery lobby. Again, thank you for your support!
