MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Dear Fellow Servant,

I hope you took the opportunity to come and share in the excitement of Umoja 2010. From all accounts that we have received this was a stellar year for Umoja. The survey results so far show that we produced an A+ performance. In addition, our “fishing” expedition yielded more than 1400 connection cards from guests that could result in saving souls which is the most important thing. Our team is following up with all of the ones who provided contact information and praying over the names of all of the people who turned in a card. God is great and greatly to be praised!

I want to thank everyone who had a role in making this year’s production a success whether it was official or unofficial. As members we are all greeters and our disposition is the best fishing tool we have! Please don’t forget to complete the brief online survey to help us continuously grow and improve. Hurry because the survey closes at midnight Sunday, May 2, 2010.

What is the saying? There is no rest for the weary? Don’t get weary because there is more to come. Here is a sneak peak at some of the exciting events we have coming up:

Ø  Short-term Bible Study beginning tonight, Friday April 30 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30pm in THE BLVD Midtown Bookstore. Pastor Janae Pitts-Murdock is the facilitator and the subject is “Status Updates:  What’s Your Status?”

Ø  New Sunday Sermon Series: Life in the Key of G begins Sunday, May 9 at both locations with our first Key of G: Grace. You don’t want to miss it.

Ø  The Mwangaza Children’s Choir of Uganda performing live at THE BLVD Midtown, Wednesday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. on their Hope for the Nations US Tour. Admission is free and doors open at 6:00pm.

Are you excited? I hope so because it is our vision to equip you to reach the lost, ignite passionate servants of Christ, serve the world and each other and empower servants to their God-given destiny. Remember that. You will hear it again!

Keep communicating with me on the Facebook fanpage at: www.facebook.com/THEBLVD1. Keep listening to 15 Minutes of Faith Wednesdays at 6:00pm on 95.7 Hallelujah FM. If you miss it, you can hear the replay weekly.

See you this weekend! And bring a friend or two to worship with you!
