BLVD East Family is celebrating “Life is Better in Community”
Sunday, May 2. All East servants are encouraged to come out
and enjoy great food and fellowship immediately after worship.
Connect with other East servants and receive information about
newly formed small group communities.

VESSELS WOMEN’S MINISTRY GETAWAY
The Chosen Vessels Women's Ministry is hosting Girlfriends
Getaway to Dallas, Texas
September 30 – October 3.
Information will be available Sunday, May 2 immediately after
the 8:30am worship service at the East location. An interest
meeting will be held at THE BLVD Midtown following the 10:00am
worship service in Room 04A. Invite your sister
friends to get away with us for fun, fellowship and
relaxation. Please email us if you are unable to attend the meeting and would like
more information.
2010 ANNUAL
OPERATION FEED CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC
Golfers, it’s time for the 2010 Annual Operation Feed
Charity Golf Classic. This year’s Golf Classic will be held at
The Club North Creek, 8779 North Creek Blvd., Southaven, MS on
Thursday, May 6. Lunch is 11:00am – 12:45pm. The range opens
at 12:00pm and Shotgun start is 1:00pm. Mark your calendars
for a great time, for a great cause. For additional

MOTHER’S DAY
OUT
The Men’s Ministry is hosting Mother’s Day Out, Friday,
May 7. We are asking all “faithful fathers” to bring their
children (all ages) for a night of fun from 6:30pm – 9:30pm at
Incredible Pizza on Germantown Parkway. Cost is $10 per person
(due May 7 before
6:30pm), which includes meal, drink and $10 game card. If
you would like to attend, contact Minister Ron Robinson at

also sign up immediately after Sunday worship in BLVD East
Chat & Chew and BLVD Midtown Men’s All Call meeting.
THE
BLVD BABY DEDICATION
The next Baby Dedication is scheduled for Sunday, May
30th during 10:00 AM worship. Infants up to 24
months may participate. Submission forms are available in THE
BLVD Midtown CIC or online. The deadline for
all submissions is Sunday, May 16.

SCHOLARSHIP
Are you working on a new career path and considering
further education? Have you started school and funding is
holding up your progress? THE BLVD cares about you. We invite
you to fill out an adult application packet and submit it by
the May 30 deadline. Pick up an application packet from the

YOUTH WINS STATE POWER LIFTING
COMPETITION
BLVD
member, Ashley Page won first place in state competition in
the category of power lifting, Saturday, April 17 in Jackson,
MS. Weighing only 95 pounds, she squatted 175 pounds, benched
75 pounds and dead lifted 210 pounds. She also holds a state
record for dead lift at 215 pounds. She won that at State
Regional. Ashley is 17 years old and at junior at DeSoto
Central High School, where she maintains an “A” average. She
is an active member of the BLVD Youth Ministry. Parents Jerry
and Alice Page are proud to share her accomplishments with THE
BLVD family. Congratulations Ashley!
