there will be a combined choir rehearsal with the Sanctuary
Choir and Voices of Triumph on Saturday, April 4th

Calling all Golfers
It’s that time of year again! The 2009 Annual Operation
Feed Charity Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, May
7th at Wedgewood Golfers’ Club at 5206 Tournament
Dr. in Olive Branch, MS. Lunch will be served from
11:00AM – 12:45PM, the range opens at
12:00PM and the Shotgun Start begins
at 1:00PM. This year the sign-up form is web based.

MEN’S
MINISTRY COOK-OFF RESCHEDULED
The Men’s Ministry Cook-Off has been rescheduled for
Sunday, April 26th immediately following the
morning worship service in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $5
per person or $20 for a family of four or more persons. Funds
from the cook-off will be used to support the Men’s Ministry
Angel Tree program. Angel Tree provides gifts to 100+ children
whose parents are incarcerated. Come join us for excellent
food and fellowship.

CONFERENCE
The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change at
the University of Memphis is sponsoring a conference on
Friday, April 3rd at 6:00PM, with Dr. Jeremiah A.
Wright, Jr. delivering the keynote address. The conference
will explore the historic election of Barack Obama to the
presidency. All conference proceedings will take place at the
