MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Dear Fellow Servants:

The time is drawing near for our first worship service at THE BLVD East in the Clark Opera Memphis Center located at 6745 Wolf River Parkway at Kirby Parkway on Sunday, September 27th at 8:30AM. I hope you received some “Invite-A-Friend” cards last Sunday and have given them to your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and even strangers inviting them to THE BLVD East worship service. Please take some more cards this week to pass out. This is a collective evangelistic opportunity for THE BLVD family.

We are almost there and our kid’s long wait is almost over. On Sunday, September 6th, our official Grand Opening Day, we will throw open the doors to our Children’s Discipletown and Overcomers’ Village and I couldn’t be more excited about what God has done. You really do not want to miss touring this amazing and creative environment that you help to create for our kids. Our children and youth slogan is “Believe In Me” and they have asked all of us to pray for and make a financial contribution to our Children and Youth Renovation Project. We need YOU to plan to give a VERY GENEROUS offering on this Sunday and next Sunday so we can pay the final bills. Don’t miss your opportunity to help us reach our financial goal and bless our kids. Remember, they are counting on us. One of our elementary kids named Callie said it best in following letter:

Dear Church People,

Hi, My name is Callie. I love Children’s Church and I love that you’re making it better. I don’t mean to be impatient, but it (is) taking kind of a long time. That’s why I grab all the envelopes and look for one that said Children’s & Youth and ask my mom for some money. Today I’m putting in $3 dollars but next Sunday, I (will) bring a $5 bill to church.

Love Callie

So, please save up like Callie and give this Sunday and next Sunday to this important project.

In addition to God blessing us with this new and exciting space for our children, our children needs YOU to volunteer to support this their ministry (Children’s Ministry). We need at least 20 new volunteers on a rotational basis to help our kids unleash their imagination in their new environment. Please click here to learn about how YOU can help meet their critical volunteer needs.

With a Servant’s Heart,

DR. FRANK A. THOMAS Senior Servant
