CHILDREN AND YOUTH RENOVATION PROJECT UPDATE

Our Children and Youth Renovation Project is on the way. Have you made your donation or pledge to our Children and Youth Project fundraising? We need your support, so please make a pledge, and bring your offering for this much needed project. Our children are our future and this project really depends on your sacrifice to be successful.

Our kids’ project theme is “Believe in Me”. So, let’s demonstrate to our children and youth that we indeed BELIEVE IN THEM. You can still help complete this project on time with your prayers and financial support.

You can support the project by pledging, making a cash contribution during the “special” offering or purchasing an item from the gift registry (click here for more information). Those members who sacrifice at least $100 in cash or in gift value will have their name included on the Children and Youth temporary “Wall of Support” board.

Information tables will be located in both lobbies after service to fully explain what you can do to support this project and the various giving levels. PLEASE come prepared to make the sacrifice to ensure our children’s future.

“CSI: CALVARY” – CHURCH-WIDE BIBLE STUDY

I was our CSI Calvary lead crime scene investigator on Wednesday who helped us uncover the key clues about Jesus’ death. We need your help as we lead our own biblical crime scene investigation following every clue, every lead, and every suspect. Who knows what each week will uncover! We will not stop until we have solved our own Calvary mystery. Please join us each Wednesday at 7:00PM as we lead our own biblical crime scene investigation following every clue, every lead and every suspect.

PALM SUNDAY

Rev. Dr. Joseph E. Lowery will be our guest preacher on Palm Sunday. Dr. Lowery did a fabulous job with the 44th Presidential Inauguration closing prayer. He is the founder of Southern Christian Leadership Conference where he served for many years. He was ordained and pastored in the United Methodist Church until his retirement in 1992. Our musical guest artist will be Victor Simonson who was the assistant musical director of the Color Purple Play by Oprah Winfrey.
