MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD
CHRISTIAN CHURCH |
| |
|
Dear Fellow Servant,
It was my plan to come to you today exclusively
about the N3 Conference (Aug 30 – Sept 1). We are still
excited about what God is going to do during the conference as
we break bread together, learn and grow via the Empowerment
sessions together and worship together. We have a great
expectation for great next level ministry to be birthed, for
strongholds to be broken, new lives in Christ discovered and
victory realized in the unlimited power of God. There is a
song by Israel Houghton that speaks of us taking the limits
off of God and releasing Him to do all the wonderful things
that only He can do in our lives. I’m not going to preach here
but I am going to shout that “God is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we could ask or think, according to
the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20
KJV).
This scripture refers to the focus of my note to
you today. The power of prayer is the focus of my message
Sunday. Anyone who has experienced the power of prayer can
testify that prayer changes things. Right now in our own
church family we are seeing the amazing power of fervent
prayer. Many of you have been asking about our sister, Veda,
who fell ill last Sunday and was hospitalized. Although I am
not able to disclose her condition by law, I can say that God
is still performing miracles. He is still healing and hearing
prayers. Church, we must pray and believe that our prayers
will be heard and answered.
Friday night, I am encouraging everyone who is
reading this note to take at least 30 minutes to an hour out
of your night between 7PM and Midnight to meet us at THE BLVD
Midtown for a prayer vigil. This prayer vigil is for the
conference, for the church, for our children, for ministry,
for families, for evangelism, for every need that we have
being met. The vigil is in the chapel but I want to see
overflow into the hallways and throughout the
building.
Our victory is in our prayer and in our
praise. Come out
Friday and pray with us. Come out Sunday and hear my message
on the Power of Prayer and the amazing miracle God is doing in
the life of our sister. Let’s send a war cry so loud that it
breaks through to the clouds and to the
Heavens!
God bless you. I love you and I will see you Friday
and Sunday!
