MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Greetings fellow Servants!

Last Sunday I asked if there are any Obed-Edoms in the house.  In other words, if God needed to use your house, could He?  Would He be able to find rest at your address?  In honesty, I believe we all have places where we could make improvements.  That is why I am asking you in July to make the commitment to living a better life.  Invest in yourself and the healthiness of your temple.

Read.  The book I mentioned Sunday is Younger Next Year by Chris Crowley & Dr. Henry S. Lodge.  We have had some challenges finding copies, however we will soon have some in our bookstore.  Check Sunday.  Read it.  Learn how to put life into your life.  I won’t discuss it yet to give you an opportunity to read a few chapters.  I will refer to it again however soon.

Exercise.  Make the commitment that each Wednesday night in July while our regularly scheduled Bible Study at THE BLVD is on break, you will seek opportunities to be physically active.  Commit to one day and then work your way into more. Join the Volleyball League (details below in News and Events).

Eat Right.  This one may be difficult considering the 4th of July holiday that is approaching but just try and eat healthier on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and pick back up on the 5th.

Finally, I encourage you to support each other in the improvement process.  Encourage one another to be better.  Support the Member Business Expo this Sunday after church.   The details are covered below but I want to stress to you that these are our family businesses and many of them offer services we all need.  Remember, family first.

June was a great month…hot but great!  Let’s make July our month of making good choices, strengthening family and further developing relationships.  Give of yourself, give of your gain and watch how the blessings come back to you.

Have a blessed week.

Pastor Frank
