THE BLVD
BLOOD
DRIVE
THE BLVD Christian Health Organization is sponsoring
our first blood drive of 2011 on Sunday, January 30 from 10:00AM –
2:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. Giving blood saves lives; one unit of
blood can save up to three lives. If you are at least 17 years old,
weigh at least 110 pounds and in reasonably good health, you can
donate blood. Remember, eat iron-rich foods, drink lots of fluids
and take care of yourself. Pre-registration is Sunday, January 23 in
THE BLVD Midtown Montgomery lobby and in the back of the sanctuary
at THE BLVD East. Pre-registration is highly encouraged although
walk-ins are welcome. Everyone who pre-registers will receive a
gift. Snacks and a t-shirt will be available to each person who
donates blood. Email Ministry Leader, Genwyl
Glover for additional information.
ANGELS OF PRAISE REHEARSAL
The Angels of Praise children’s choir rehearses each
Wednesday at 6:00PM in the adult choir room (M206). Mrs. Wendy Baker
is looking to see all Angels of Praise choir members at rehearsal.

901.272.5614.

worship service at THE BLVD East (7:45 – 8:30AM) and the second
reception is after 10:00AM worship service at THE BLVD Midtown.
Boxes will be available at both receptions for congratulatory
cards.
A NEW PLAN
– A NEW VAN
It’s been a long time coming BLVD but a change has
come. We have upgraded our transportation fleet beginning with a new
25-passenger van/bus. It is the first of our fleet upgrade and just
one of the many ways we are bringing people to Christ in 2011.
Additionally, with this new bus comes a new need for volunteers. If
you have a CDL license and would like to be a part of our
transportation ministry please contact Charles Dickerson at
901.272.5633.
FINANCIAL U
CLASSES
It’s a new year and what better way to start than by
getting your finances in order? Financial U classes are available on
Saturdays beginning February 5 from 9:00AM – 12:00PM. Registration
begins Sunday following worship service in THE BLVD East lobby and
THE BLVD Midtown Montgomery lobby. Contact Bettye
Boone for more details.
