MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Thanks everyone for bringing your signs this past Sunday. It touched me deeply to see and listen to the affirmation of gifts across the sanctuary. At the East campus each person with a sign was able to share their gift out loud in a parade of signs all around the worship center. Because our Midtown campus congregation is much larger, I had to choose a small representation to come and share their gifts with everyone. This Sunday, I want everyone to bring your signs again. Wear your sign attached with string around your neck. This is more than a show. It is an opportunity for you to show the world what that “one thing” we were called to do. Your purpose and your destiny are attached to that one thing. Start by writing the statement, wearing it and finally to coming from behind yourself into action. This is how you become a champion and a winner.

Sunday, we continue the sermon series Champion: The Winner Within and All I Do Is Win on Wednesday night. Please make plans to attend.

Finally, I want to thank Dr. Joe Leonard, President Obama’s assistant secretary for Civil Rights, who was our special guest at THE BLVD Midtown Sunday. He said he knew he was in the right place when he saw our sign “All I Do Is Win” because that is what we are doing every day. I agree!

The church closed early yesterday. You may check our website. Facebook, and Channel 3 for updated information.

See you bright and early Sunday morning!
