MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Greetings Fellow Servant:

It’s almost time! Kurt Carr will be worshipping with us at our Midtown Campus this Sunday at 10:00am.  This exciting worship service is for all BLVD worshippers.  If you attend the 8:30am worship service, please try and join us for the Midtown service as well.  If you would like to sing in the community choir that will accompany Kurt Carr, join us at 1:00pm on Saturday at the Midtown Campus for rehearsal.

We are also excited about our youth who will be hosting St. Andrew AME this Saturday from 7pm to 11pm for a Valentine’s dance at our Midtown Campus.  We are inviting all of our 7th through 12th grade students to come out for this fun event where our students get to dress up and “Step In The Name Of Love.”  Also, on Saturday we have an event for our Parents & Teens from 10am to 1pm to boost more healthy communications. This event will happen at our East Campus and is open to all of our members!

Next week is our last installment of our February Midweek Series: Go Tell It!  We don’t know which ministry teams will be linked together, but every week has been amazing! Hats off to all the ministry teams who have gone so far!  Our new series starts next month.  Join us in March for The Scandal of The Cross & be sure to invite family and friends!

As we continue in our Lenten Season, let us be mindful of all opportunities to participate by accessing our Lenten Guide by clicking here.  Prayer is so essential for our lives, so make sure you are present for early morning prayer on next Thursday morning at 6:30am in our Midtown Sanctuary. If you don’t have a prayer guide yet, please click here.

Let’s keep our church lifted before God in prayer as we anticipate the arrival of our next Senior Pastor, Rev. J. Lawrence Turner.  Resurrection Sunday will be here before we know it!  Aren’t you excited?

I am praying for you in the name of Jesus and believe that God has something special just for you!
