THE BLVD celebrates four extraordinary women recognized
by the Tri-State Defender as 2010 Women of Excellence. We
celebrate our own Linda Carter (Managing Director, Human
Resources Support and Diversity for FedEx Express),
Hughetta Dudley (President and CEO if
Stragistics Technology, Inc.), Sally Johnson (Owner of Sally’s Hair
Gallery and President of the Tennessee Beauticians
Association), and Sharon Johnson Wheeler, Ph.D. (Director of Advancement
Services, Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation). These women “demonstrate personal
strength and integrity in their ability to move the city
forward in its deep and rich culture, as well as advancing
causes for the city, at large.” Fickling, P. (2010, April 1).
