MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Dear Fellow Servant,

This upcoming week brings an end to the 40 Days of Love journal but not to our journey.  When the journal ends, we continue our commitment to love through several activities that take us all the way to Easter.  Please make note of these events:

·         March 21 – We are renewing our commitment to love. This commitment can be to loving another person, yourself or to loving God.

·         March 28Child Advocacy Sunday - We are showing our support by donning blue or blue accents.

·         March 29 thru April 3Church-wide Fast

·         April 4Easter (Resurrection Sunday)

You can find helpful tips on fasting in the back of your journal along with inspiring scripture references. If you don’t have a journal, you can also follow us on THE BLVD (Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church) Facebook page. We culminate our journey on Easter Sunday, April 4. After all, there is no greater love than the love Jesus showed by dying for us. Make plans to come and bring the family for a wonderful message of Resurrection.

Speaking of family, I am so glad that we have a world-class production right here at THE BLVD for the entire family. It’s G-Rated for Godly, good, great fun and general admission. It’s Umoja 2010. April 23-25 we will transform the sanctuary at THE BLVD Midtown and it is my hope that you purchase your ticket for this show unlike any other. Tickets are just $10. Don’t wait. Get yours early.

I’m looking forward to seeing you this Sunday. The message this week is about truth in love. Everybody who gives you praise and flatters you does not love you.

Don’t forget to listen to 15 Minutes of Faith with Dr. Frank Anthony Thomas, Wednesdays on 95.7 at 6pm. Weekly, you can hear the replay. Help me make this radio program the best that it can be.

See you Sunday.

DR. FRANK A. THOMAS Senior Servant
