Dear Fellow Servant,
This Sunday was a very special Sunday for us at THE
BLVD. It was Pink
Sunday. We joined
the fight for Breast Cancer Awareness and showed our unified
desire to find a cure by donning pink and celebrating the
lives of those we know who have been affected by the
illness. I can
only imagine the depth of the pain, despair and anguish one
goes through after receiving a diagnosis that eats away at
life’s timeline and often leaves more questions than answers
and more room for fear than faith. It is in these weak times
that doubt creeps in about the power of God. Is anything too hard
for God?
On this very special Sunday, the message delved
into the question: Is Anything Too Hard for God? If you were not able
to attend, I invite you to get a copy of Sunday’s message and
to purchase the entire Great Questions of the Bible
series available through our Media Ministry.
Accompanying the message on Sunday, we had a very
special guest artist in the house at both locations. Kim McFarland
ministered with our Praise Team at THE BLVD East and with our
Women of Worship at THE BLVD Midtown. She is the voice on
some of gospel’s greatest hits for the Thomas Community
Singers including I
Tried Him and I Know Him, For the Good of Them Who
Love the Lord, and Thank
You.
On your way to church this Wednesday, you may want
to take extra precautions in some areas of the city that now
have new ways of making sure all drivers abide by the speed
limit laws. I am
not a proponent of breaking any laws, but I am truly one of
awareness. This having been Awareness Sunday, I am asking you
to be aware as you travel through lights especially at the
following locations:
