MISSISSIPPI BOULEVARD
CHRISTIAN CHURCH |
| |
|
Dear
Fellow Servant,
Greetings from the
Motherland of Cape Town, South Africa! We are enjoying the
presence of the Lord here in this place. Last night (Tuesday)
we were at the Kingdom Leadership Seminar hosted by Cape Town
Embassy Church.
This past Sunday we had a powerful worship experience
at Crystal Ministries.
I could only think “How Great Is Our God”. I hear that you too
had an awesome worship this past Sunday. Our internet
connection is very weak and sporadic but the word reached all
the way across the waters that this past Sunday, Pastor
Reggie Bell preached his socks off (as they say on
Facebook) on the subject of PRIDE. It would not be true
if I said I was at all surprised! I am grateful to have
such a spiritually capable pastoral staff. This Sunday, Pastor
Janae Pitts-Murdock will conclude the Seven Deadly Sins Sermon
Series with LUST. I need not say it but
I will anyway: Don’t miss
it!
Sunday at 8:30AM at THE BLVD East or 10:00AM at THE
BLVD Midtown and streaming online at
10:00AM.
We
are getting closer and closer to our N3 Conference 2010
which has replaced our revival August 30-September
1. You get a
sneak peek at the activities occurring during the conference
which include:
Dinner for a Dollar
nightly. We
are offering $1 per person meals nightly and for families of
five or more the cost is only $5.
Empowerment Sessions
nightly. The
sessions include subjects for almost every interest including
marriage, singleness, parenting, transforming worship,
creating a harvest ready atmosphere, preparing for spiritual
warfare, and empowering young minds.
Worship nightly lead by
Bishop Rudolph McKissick, Jr. That alone should make
you shout! If
you have not heard Bishop McKissick deliver the Word you have
missed something that you now have the opportunity to
experience right here at THE BLVD Midtown.
Additionally
there will be activities for the children and students nightly
and a Praize Party
for grades 1-6 on Wednesday night.
I
am telling you that your whole life can be changed (In) N 3
Nights!
Registration begins this week at both campuses and
online at www.theblvd.org. We ask that you
register for the Empowerment Sessions and make reservations
for the dinner.
I
close this week with the same message I closed with last week
which is that you be careful in the heat. It is my understanding
that 15 people in the Mid-South have lost their lives to heat
related issues this summer. Please watch out for
the children and the elderly. If you’ve never been
nosey before, be nosey now and check on your neighbors. Also keep us in your
prayers as we travel here and back home to Memphis.
God
bless you. I love
you! Don’t forget
to come out Sunday!
