Dear Fellow Servant:

This week I prepared another eNews video message for you. Please click on my image below to watch my eNews video message, then click “Watch Video” tab next to my photo on our website.

GET READY FOR REVIVAL

You don’t want to miss the powerful music and preached word at our Spring Revival.  If you need an inspiring and transforming encounter with God, it will happen May 11 – 13 at our Spring Revival.  We want to see our entire congregation and community revived!  Bring a friend each night.  You may be eligible to win the grand prize for bringing the most guests.  We’re also eager to see who will win the Ministry Attendance Challenge and the Bible Class Attendance Challenge.  If you are in a ministry or a Bible class, be sure to check-in each night at the registration tables to help your ministry or your class win a cash prize!

CHILDREN AND YOUTH RENOVATION PROJECT UPDATE

Have you made your pledge yet?  Did you purchase an item from the Gift Registry?  Or did you simply give a “good offering” to support our children and youth project?  No, you haven’t done any of those things, then you need to get moving!  We need you to pledge, give in the offering or purchase an item from the Gift Registry to support our children and youth project.  The Lord and our children and youth are depending on us to provide them with a “good” place to learn and grow and to be trained in the ways of the Lord.  I believe in them.  Join me in believing in the future of our children and youth by giving to this project.   Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting ways in which you can give while staying on your budget.  This week we are highlighting our “Gift Registry.”  The “Gift Registry” list items that will be needed to furnish the classrooms and activity rooms when the project is complete.  Purchasing an item from the registry is another method in which you can give to this project and receive membership giving credit just as if you gave cash.  Please go online at www.theblvd.org to review the items in the registry and purchase one today.

The item we are highlighting this week is: Item # CYRO12:  40” Flat Screen LCD/TV- Need 3 (valued around $500).  I would like to report in next week’s eNews that all three of the 40” Flat Screen LCD/TVs were purchased.  So, go out and take a look and purchase one of these items or something else from the Gift Registry.

MEMORIAL NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS

There are many ways to remember loved ones or persons who you admired or respected.  This year MBCC is implementing a scholarship in memory of a family member, or someone else you wish to honor.  These scholarship donations given in the name of the person you select will be given to MBCC members who are graduating from high school, or those who have decided to go back to college later in life. The deadline for all Named Scholarship funds is Sunday, May 10th.  Informational packets are available in the Church Information Center.  For more information Click here or contact Pastor Neko Sharkey at 901.272.5638.

God has ways of sharing information and that is why I believe blogging can be a good communication tool for us all.  Blog me and share your thoughts.  I look forward to hearing from you, blog me at www.theblvdblog.org.

See you on Sunday,

Pastor Frank
