Dear Fellow
Servant:
Fourth
of July is
a
welcomed holiday
day, commemorating United States of America
declaration of independence from Great Britain on
July 4, 1776. As you spend time relaxing and
celebrating with family and friends, set aside
some prayer time for our military personnel who
are on foreign soil protecting this country on
Independence Day.
July
may mean longer days, but not at THE BLVD. July
brings "Summer
Breeze", the abbreviated Sunday worship
services and casual dress at our Midtown campus
starting this Sunday.
We
are beginning the month of July with new family
sermon series; I am looking for you Sunday and
Wednesday as we kick off these
series:
“The Message
in the Music” series will give insight into
how our family values are marked by generational
music. We will discover how the best songs of your
generation carry the message of love, wholeness,
inspiration, and renewal.
“How to Make
Good Godly Decisions” at our midweek service,
will give us answers and help us make better
decisions. This sermon series’ topics will
be:
July
6 – Relationship Decisions
July 13 – Financial
Decisions
July
20 – Career Decisions
July 27 – Spiritual
Decisions
Join
me for each series and learn how our families are
impacted by these life
occurrences.
If
you are not able to attend a worship service,
remember to log-on to www.theblvd.org.
Live streaming is available on our website. Also,
tune in to 15 Minutes of
Faith on Wednesdays, at 6:00PM on 95.7. Never
miss a worship experience, there’s a blessing just
for you.
As
we experience high temperatures, if you must be
outdoors, drink plenty of water, and
remember to check on the children, the elderly and
the pets.
Also, take some time to relax, heat can be
very draining.
Finally,
the offices
at THE BLVD are closed
Monday, July 4 for the holiday and
will reopen Tuesday July 5. I pray traveling
blessings for everyone who is traveling. If you
are in the city, I am looking forward to seeing
you Sunday.
With
a Shepherd’s heart,
